Who are We?
The public relations department is responsible for maintaining effective communications within the Nordonia Hills City School District. It also serves parents and other members of the community and the news media by delivering clear, timely and accurate information.We communicate the objectives and accomplishments of the District so that the public effectively understands district functions and goals.
The public relations department encourages and coordinates news coverage with media, arranges staff interviews, and provides responses to requests for information, to promote full public understanding of school issues, policies and accomplishments.
Our Goals:
- Provide timely and complete responses to requests for information.
- Produce publications with substantive and timely information.
- Support the individual schools, superintendent, treasurer, and administrative staff in actively communicating.
- Build community support for the Nordonia Hills City Schools
How we Communicate
- Periodic employee e-blasts distributed to all staff
- Publish and distribute a periodic district newsletter, “Nordonia News,” to all residents, elected officials, business leaders, and non-profit organizations in the school community
- Produce monthly cable program, “Network Nordonia,” which provides an inside look in our schools for residents

- Weekly media press releases to print media
- Partnerships which engage the public by offering opportunities to collaborate on projects.
