Mr. Woofter is very proud to be the principal of Lee Eaton Elementary School. He has served in Nordonia going on his tenth year. “This is my fifth year at Lee Eaton Elementary and it is beginning to feel like my home away from home.” Formally, Mr. Woofter was the Associate Principal at Nordonia Middle School and before that served four years at Ledgeview Elementary as the Associate Principal. His undergraduate and master’s degrees are both from the University of Akron. Mr. Woofter is the proud father of three wonderful sons and has been happily married for over 15 years.
Seeing students grow into mature, positive, bright young people is an honor and a joy for Mr. Woofter. “Fifth and Sixth grade is certainly a wonderful age to be. They begin to see the world around them from a perspective other than their own. In many ways they are becoming young adults. It is enriching, challenging, and a noble role to work with them during this stage of their life.”
